General introduction

Degban Group is committed to protecting your personal and enterprise information when you are using Degban Group services. We want our services to be safe and our platforms enjoyable environments for our clients and the general public. This Privacy Policy relates to our use of any personal information you provide to us online, via phone or text, by email, in letters or correspondence.

When do we collect you information?

We are a subscription based service provider. We only collect your information when you expressively intend to enter into a contract with us. We do not operate newsletter for non-clients. We do not operate forums or any other platforms for non-clients hence we will not ask for or collect your information unless you want to enter into a contract with us. The only exception is filling out the contact us/ request a quote form, in which case we only collect the data you provide to us such as a name so we can address you, your correspondence address so we can get back to you, your industry so we can assist you better. We do not use any third party data collection tools or web analytics on our website nor do we collect any visitor information.

What information do we collect?

We only collect information in two cases:

When you fill in details for a contract, in which case we would need information sufficient for us to identify you and contact you.  This however does not include ID card number or Passport number as we do not collect such information through our website.

When you fill in a contact us form or price quote request, we will collect information necessary for us to contact you and identify the works you would like us to protect.

What about my financial details such as my credit card details or bank account?

We do not process cards or take payments directly, we use third party companies such as Paypal or ask you to send funds directly to our bank account, hence we have no hand in keeping your data private or public. However, our payment processors and banks are reputable businesses with strong privacy policies which you might want to review.

What do we do with your information?

We use your contact details to contact you if and when it is deemed necessary per terms of our contract.

We do not make use of them in any other way, shape or form outside of how it is described and set forth in the contract you sign with us. In terms of the contact us page we will try to contact you back, up to 3 times and then if we do not hear back from you, we will erase the data from our system.

Who do we share this information with?

No one, your data is kept inside the Degban Group of companies.

Where do we store your  information?

In our secure servers which are located in EU area.

How long will you keep this information?

For the length of the contract plus 12 months.

What do you consider as sensitive or personal information?

Any data that is not freely available online or in physical libraries.

What about changes made to this policy?

As per other changes, we will give sufficient notice to all clients regarding any changes that will be made to the privacy policy.

What if I don't agree with this policy?

You may contact us and ask us to discuss this with you further, but if you disagree with our policies you should refrain from using our website or services.

I consider all my information very confident what do I do?

In such cases we would like to suggest you either tell us in advance or contact an attorney prior to providing us with the data.
